Developed by business, the BioTC Collaborative, and led by Grifols Biologicals LLC, the Biocom Institute Technician Certification (BioTC) was created as a direct response to Life Science industry labor demands.
Designed for graduates from bioscience, biotechnology and science-related career technology programs, BioTC helps open doors to rewarding career paths in the Life Science industry while connecting companies to skilled entry-level manufacturing technicians.

The BioTC is awarded to students who complete and pass a no-cost, two-hour online assessment exam covering a range of fundamental knowledge and competencies employers want in entry-level manufacturing technicians. This exam was developed with direct input from leading Life Science companies, as well as instructors from bioscience and biotechnology programs at local colleges.
